if your body is stiff, you are going to have less control. properly geared up, you can remain comfortable, and relaxed. a relaxed body always has better control than a tense body.
last week i went on a short ride when the weather was a little cool. had too many vents on my jacket open, which gave me the occasional chill. every time i shivered, the bike shimmied. relaxed my hands on the grips, and the shimmy went away.
as far as winds, just lean into it a little, stay relaxed, and roll on.
it is more important that you are comfortable on your ride, IMO. stiffness is a lack of control.

Interesting that it gets blown around so much. Which bike is this? I've had a number of bikes in the wind and I am not sure if a huge amount of weight is all that great. It helps, but partly depends on where it is and how well you can control the bike.
You may be more comfortable on a bike you feel more confident controlling day to day. Maybe a CBR600 F4i? 200lbs lighter and much more nimble. It may get blown around more, but you may still feel like you are in control.
That said, if your daily riding is 200 miles in the rain and wind, on the interstate, I'd just buy a car. Best to risk your life having fun, not risk it hating your life.

Disclaimer: this is not the safest advice. I pick a semi and draft it. There is a sweet spot behind those big ol' trucks that is kind of an oasis if you tailgate a little bit. Just stay on your game while doing this You can out-brake a truck but your viability is limited [obv].
I try to swing out every now and then to let the driver know what I'm up to, they figure it out pretty quick.
Safer advice: seeing how it's pouring here I'm all about giving bad advice on the internet and day-drinking today ;]

Depending on your body size/height and the installed height of the windscreen, you may need to tuck down to get into the sweet spot behind the windscreen.
Most are adjustable, maybe tweak yours to suit your riding position better.
