Excitement is in the air again as Charlie Kirk and a gay nigger sweat it out onstage, gangbanged by 9 groipers asking one hatefact after another. Charlie must want to kill himself because he has an entire tour to get through before this ordeal is over.
Even if you don't totally agree with Nick (I find the degeneracy nitpicking annoying) this man is the optics king and you can just feel the electricity in the air again, something really positive. 2017-19 was an awful slump that was extremely depressing and blackpilling. recently it's been said that most alt right people are totally burned out and have turned back the clock to their previous opinions prior to trump and 2016. but i think that at least is positive in that we can finally let the alt right die and focus on something constructive -- let that mental energy come slowly building again.
this time, i think we're going to muscle into the mainstream. even though we lost the battle, we got the gift of defeat.

the activists who didn't explode -- who saw how the game works and how institutions function in order to destroy them, these now are the activists who are coming to represent us; not people like spencer.

the base of dissidents has still grown huge from where it was in 2016. personally i became a WN in 2018, though based on a poll i did on this board the majority of converts were from 2015/16. the constant agitation and confrontation of the far right online has also probably helped normalize it as far as the overton window is concerned. when i browse reddit, it occurs to me that our views have finally achieved some significant social proof. the moderators made the error of treating normies and wignats the same and what happened is that they often ended up having to share boards. censorship is not a stable long term solution because what happens is you become hysterical and split hairs and recklessly attack people who have nothing to do with what is banned. for example, ai wei wei is a guy who makes art that subtly criticizes the chinese gov't. in their oppression of him he has become a cult figure

The optics debate is over. Nick has proven that his approach works way better than the others that have been practiced. Normal people like him and are interested in what he has to say. He's also not too serious or a heavy nihilist, he's something very familiar to common Americans. Now that this debate is over imo we can focus.

America First is very fun to watch, I agree with you that Nick has a great formula. He has pretty hot takes on most social issues.
Politically, he's basically just a racially-conscious Neocon. So I think he still has faith in "the system" that it can be saved; Democratic elections, government-issued currency, monopoly on violence and law, etc. which I all fundamentally disagree with.
Nick also said "Catholicism is the ultimate redpill" which is pretty cringe to me personally, but is far from the worst direction to point people.
I hope you're right about 2020 being less blackpilled than the past couple years. Nick is definitely one of the good guys but I'm not sure he will be leading the charge.

Wtf how is Nick a neocon? You got to be joking.

Nick has said that the function of government is to provide strong law & order in societies and crush your political enemies. He has no problem with foreign intervention as long as the perceived outcomes will benefit America (e.g. hypothetical war with Iran). This is Big government, pro war, pro police-state neoconservatism that zoomers think is cool because Nick hates degeneracy and is racially conscious.
Again, he is not one of the bad guys and his show is entertaining.
