tbh the funny thing about reddit is that you can still interact with bugmen, it's fucking hilarious to see paths cross from time to time. I think i'll miss that one on voat. Also the only reason I still use Twitter.

When it got to the point where I felt like I was interacting with AI programmed to regurgitate talking points or insults I couldn’t take any more. Even T_D feels this way now. You either get downvoted totally out of the conversation or outright banned for having an opinion contrary to the hive. It’s the opposite of what should be happening in healthy conversation.

you very well might have been, reddit is full of bots

the hivemind thing is quite astonishing, gotta agree on that one. How people can still use the same talking points over and over again is baffling to me. Like, we're still having a discussion on the fucking wage gap. How is this still an issue? I can't take shit like that anymore. Maybe it's good to see how fucked up everything is.

Where did the name bugmen come from?

It's important to keep interacting with the bugmen, because once they shed the mind-control of porn, video games, and prepped veggies, they can become based brothers in arms. Furthermore, poking at the Reddit hivemind forces you to be crafty and subtle with your comments, letting you fly in under the radar.
