They really should be. They have become too high and mighty feeding off the misery of others. When the revolution happens, the journalists really need to be the first to go. Cleanse their whole profession so it can start anew, and be what journalism is supposed to be.

Nobody pays me for cooking food yet cooking is still a profession.

Though one problem with journalism is that they seldom sell articles, reviews or even opinions anymore. At least not primarily, instead they sell online-ads, as few people buy subscriptions for their content. And to sell those ads they use clickbait and outrage instead of good content.
