The article tries to imply that white people's brains are a hotbed of deep rooted racism, but it's probably more likely that human beings evolved to have an instinctive wariness of black people as a survival mechanism.

I have said that too. Prejudice is a survival mechanism. There are innate prejudices like fearing things with big teeth and prejudices which are formed from our personal experiences. The immigrant coming from Pakistan may have never met a black in his life, but after seeing a few of his buddies murdered by blacks while driving cabs will certainly have him on edge the next time he sees a black passenger. You might say it's racist to think like that, but the same people who cry racism are the ones who say all white cops are racist and want to kill blacks when that actually happens very infrequently. Blacks can assume all cops are racist and are a threat to them yet I can't say that blacks are violent and criminal and pose a threat to me? Do you see the double standard?

How can one take this article seriously with such a sensationalist title as that?

Yeah, it was definitely off-putting to me too. I was expecting yet another article to rationalize cops shooting blacks. The article makes no mention that white cops shoot white suspects equally. These writers want to present everything in black and white but they don't delve into the realities of a cop confronting a suspect. I guarantee you that if you examined the black suspects shot by police over the past few years, you'd see blacks who have long criminal histories and/or psychiatric or substance abuse problems. But looking at each individual case and examining the suspects' criminal histories is automatically assumed to be racist. The media and BLM thugs want to push the narrative that white cops are just indiscriminately killing citizens because they are black.

Honestly, it's no different for the ordinary non-black citizen who walks by a group of black youths with the exception that they don't carry guns. It's not the news, movies, or TV that shape my prejudices about blacks. It's my actual experiences with criminally minded and violent blacks that shape my behavior around them. I am sure it's far more extreme with cops who have to work in the war zones of black communities. If they aren't extremely careful and approach a car with a black driver as opposed to one with a little old white lady, they may lose their lives. That's the reality of the situation. The cop who believes blacks are just like you and me ends up dead.
