The rules currently want me to include a starter comment.

So, I'm not sure that I agree there's a universe outside of the one we exist in, the world of metaphysics. However, I do believe mathematics is a great language for describing the universe and for giving clarity to the expected outcomes for any given action.

It's still a great essay. It's a bit old now, a full decade, and I'm not sure if the author still holds that opinion. I am not actually familiar with the author, though we are both fellow alum. I still have an mit.edu email address, so I guess I could email him and ask.

At any rate, I'm going to try to breathe some life into this sub. I will not do your homework. Anyone have any objection to me requesting to take this one over? I may do v/mathematics as well, or instead.
