6/8/2015 weight: 302 lbs
7/17/2015 wieght: 279.4 lbs
My journey began June 8th. I woke up with a headache that stayed with me all day. It turned out my house was too dry but every article I read was reduced to "DON'T BE FAT!" I was angered that almost every solution was don't be fat. I knew I was too damn fat. I could still run, play hockey, kayak etc. I was shoving too much food into my mouth hole. I started counting calories. 3k+ calories a day will cause you to weigh 300 lbs, whodda thunk it eh?
I downloaded the "My Fitness Pal" app. Started counting calories and getting my fat ass to the gym. I'm eating smaller portions and feeling full. I'm actually finding that I need eat smaller amounts more frequently throughout the day. I'm still taking in ~2,000 calories a day but its much more healthy foods.
Everyone's weight loss journey will be different. JUST DON'T EAT OR DRINK AWAY ALL YOUR GAINS!!!! I was down to 270lbs leading up to my wedding 9/2013 I was still drinking plenty of beer and couldn't get below that mark even though I was turning into a monster at the gym. FOOD IS FUEL!!!! Except Towne Club sodas, those are desserts.
My journey is not about becoming ripped or a model for the male physique. Mine is about not jiggling. I don't care what the scale says at the end of all this. I don't want to be flabby.
UPDATE: 7/30/2015 CW: 274.6lbs
