When watching movies with VLC my screen goes blank in 10min, which i've configured in Xfce Power Management, but this shouldn't happen. VLC should ignore power management settings while playing a video, so that my screen wouldn't go dark in the middle of a movie. I have found an Advanced Setting in VLC which i unchecked: "Inhibit the power management daemon during playback". After doing that my screen still goes dark after 10min and i don't want that. It was ok when i was on Cinnamon DE. I checked, it's not related to a screensaver.
Help me, i can't live like this.

Try a player more suited to Linux. Vlc was always written with wi does in mind iirc.
