My professor who taught trig was a 23 year old with a doctorate in math. I think he was in between real professor gigs because he was a professor at like a top notch university, only worked at my university for a semester, and then went on to work at some other top notch school.
Anyway, he told us that every form of fiat currency in history has always failed. I feel stupid for asking, but I didn't know what fiat meant, "Fiat, like the car?"
I was a 30 year old, high school drop out, veteran, being taught trig by a kid... So many wrong turns in my life lol.

What's really scary is two fiat currencies don't like to operate in the same geographic area. Bitcoin and USD are fiat currencies. Their value is just whatever people say they are. Normally it is somewhat regulated by the "market cap" of the currency which gives it a physical component in the form of the volume of goods being exchanged with it daily. If we pretend that Bitcoin only operated in the US then the sum of the bitcoin market cap and the USD market cap would equal the market cap of physical goods exchanged. Basically the long story short is the value of a fiat currency is unstable if other fiat currencies are being exchanged for the same goods. Bitcoin has no fundamental ceiling until it gains a market cap similar to USD and that can happen either by bitcoin going up or USD going down, or possibly it won't happen at all. It really is a chaos machine.

Fiat must always fail because it's fake plus the (((bankers))) can't help but dilute it until it hyper inflates.
