Man, that looks really good. I was wondering how curses would work in python or how you could create a similar effect.

Here's mine, python 3.5.1. Six guesses isn't enough to draw a basic hangman. Seven guesses is what bsd-games' hangman uses.

Edit: Updated mine. I didn't notice the linter (python-mode's pylint-mccabe) was telling me run_game() was too complex. I'm not sure why it complained about that but didn't complain about print_hangman(). Also, whitespace, variable names, function name.
