Lower the minimum wage, reduce the cost of starting a small business. Employ more people, reduce welfare dependence. Improve economy.
A lower minimum wage immediately reduces welfare dependence and barriers for new and small businesses. A lower minimum wage immediately improve the local economy.

Except prices are set by global demand and not local market conditions. Shit will get real fast if incomes drop so low that other nations can outbid us for food crops because farmers like everyone, sell to the highest bidder.

Hence why there's the need for decentralization and local economies.
Plus your comment hardly makes sense. Your hard earned dollar is gonna get you a heck of a lot further in Tri-Cities, WA than NY, NY.
Farmers make more money faster and easier selling locally than globally. Your local organic apple is going to be cheaper than the GMO one imported by boat from Central America.
By reducing wages, you create more jobs. This allows for people who would have fully been supported by welfare, to only be partially supported by welfare. Thus immediately reducing Government spending. Combine that with those same people actually going to a job, earning skills, improving themselves instead of learned helplessness that welfare creates. Also reduced wages creates incentive for start-up companies. More companies equals more jobs. More jobs means more job competition. More job competition means higher wages. Thus you organically raise the wages, reduce Government spending, create more jobs and improve labor skills. All by reducing the required minimum wage. The benefits are immediate.
