Canadians try to suppress freedom in the US.
And I thought they we share culture and values.

It's not "freedom". It is the law intervening in a civil dispute to limit the rights of labor and increase the power of employers. It is the application of force to the benefit of one side of a dispute.

Nonsense. It's employees' freedom to chose if they want to be part of a union or not. The right to work laws don't prevent willing employees form be part of a union or pay union dues.
The Canadian government trying to limit american's freedom should be a show stopper for any relation with canada.

Good news, but don't be surprised if this turns out to be a mere bargaining chip that is dropped later.

whats wrong with right to work laws?

Simple, they should be properly named as "right to apply maximum force" laws on the part of employers.
