Lovely. Walls might be too thin for Winter, but I guess it's California after all.

Cabin looks very surprised to see me.

Too much exposed wood imo

That was designed by an architect. Look up how much a sliding glass door like that costs. People with money like that don’t live off the grid. The whole thing is retarded. It’s not a real cabin. There’s too much overhang on that porch roof, too high up in the air. The wind is going to remove that overhang at some point. But it looks great in the photo doesn’t it?

What wind? This isn't one of those hurricane or tornado zones like they have on the east and gulf coasts. The big issue with this place is it has no defensive zone for wildfires, and it gets bone dry after 6 months with zero rain.

yea in more ways than one! I built my house which is just a bigger version of the design of this cabin! Wow.
Same roof line and pitch. Thanks I love monocline roofs. Plus when I asked my woman what type of house she wanted she dug out her well read dwell mags-two words modern contemporary.
The best part about Modern Contemporary is it can be done on the mad cheap. Just like this cabin.
