I'm not 100% savvy to the SJW definition, but I would say it's not just the obvious SJWs that attempt to crush opposing views. It happens in loads of places on Reddit that would like to tout freedom as their mantra. People all over the place really attempt to bury discussion by piling on downvoats and using karma point-like mechanisms to hide views that counter their own.

Anyway, everyone's got at least one opinion or political stance that's challenged by somebody... why the hell not try to discuss it? The evolution of the human mind has emotion triggering intuition, the starting point of belief, and then rationalizations happen after the initial thought impulses typically. The notion that logic drives initial choices is bunk, at least v suspect. So wtf not try to discuss the rationalizations?

great post. more open discussion, less manipulation of opposing opinions.
