yeah. The best defense is not a technical one as it is a management one.

Again, if the rules aren't enforced selectively then we won't have the SRS issue.

SRS is so powerful now because they KNOW they will never be even slapped on the wrist.

I have never met an authority figure whose rules can be taken at face value by absolutely everyone. There's no such thing.

I've always been curious, because I don't pay much attention to them, but how do people figure they can break or bend the rules without impunity? Is it a political climate sort of thing?

Basic entitlement be it IRL (parents,doormat mates,etc..) or from the internet. Tumblr is one cesspit that harbours such bratty, wretched, entitled scum and villainy. Politics has now begun to wait hand and foot to them in every matter.
