My question was not "why were you unwilling to submit to reddit's censorship of your speech". My question was why did you not care about all the other people that reddit censored before they decided to censor you?

Edit: I don't really expect you to tell me, it was more a rhetorical question to make a point about how most people on voat think about free speech and what we think about reddit

Yeah I get that, but when I wrote about censorship being my own choice, that's what I was referring to. What I search for and where I click is upto me. But that's not to say I'm ok with inappropriate material being put in-front of someone that's not looking for it.

That's the beauty of no censorship, if you wanna talk about xyz head on over to v/xyz and do it day and night with everyone in there. But respect the people who only want to talk about numbers in v/123 and keep the content appropriate to the sub.

How could anyone have a problem with that?

Most people browse voat by all/new and do not expect to receive a neatly curated feed of content that they can download directly into their brain like most redditors do. Sorting by new you'll find plenty of nsfw stuff, often times unlabeled. Traffic isn't so high on most subs that you can just browse by front page. If you sort by all/new you'll have to block subs but that works best once you block the few high trafficked subs you don't care about
