This is what I imagined our society was like after I lived in a city for only one year.

So you are from some remote place?

Throughout my life I had to ride a fine line between obedience and disobedience.

Well said. It's the human condition as we know it.

Lived rural America in early years then moved to a city. Church changed from a happy place where i knew people to a place of even more joy into one of terror because of where i was and what i knew. Ohh im a old goat. just not lurking as much.

Church in rural America is the mostly the same people year after year. In a big city it can be like going to a concert.
