I feel that with the Communist style Reddit crackdown, we'll get a Reddit without the liberal cesspool losers.

SJW are the red guard of our time. Fuck them. All they are the same type of people on the religious right expect they were born in the North instead of the South. They do the same type of shit that the religious wackjobs do. Admonish anybody that doesn't shallow their ideology wholesale and spend all their time trying to stamp out vice.

Welcome! I'm new here too.

My dream career is to maximize the educational potential that video games have to help students that have a hard time learning in the traditional classroom setting.

Sounds great! I think games have great potential as simulations, to enable practical learning of all kinds of things that young people can't usually try hands on. Do you have any ideas ready to share?

I have tons of ideas but still lack the skills to make them a reality. Right now I'm working on a game that helps kids build a stronger vocabulary and reading skills by integrating natural word progression into the core gameplay. It's an RPG where you start off with low level words as your skills like "cut" and "burn", but as you get stronger your words also become more powerful words like "slice" and "ignite" and then into max level words like "lacerate" and "conflagrate". I'm mainly trying to work off of "SAT" words to help prepare kids for the hell that is standardized testing.

I was inspired by my little brother because he has dyslexia and dysgraphia that make it hard for him to enjoy reading, but he absolutely loves video games. I realized that video games were the reason I became such a strong reader when I was little (because I played text-heavy games like Dungeon Siege and Baldur's Gate) so I decided to try and make a game that could help kids like him while still being super fun.

Cool idea. I'd love to have a game like that to learn new vocabulary in other languages.

Hope you can help him. Every once in a while, very rarely, I realize I'm seeing letters or numbers scrambled (usually numbers). Freaks me out.

"Social Justice Warrior", and yeah many gender issues are boring because they're totally fabricated.

SJW is "social justice warrior"

You're probably better off not knowing any more than that.
