Hey guys, I know the community is young, but I see you wonderful people as a great stepping stone to something great.
Yesterday I posted on /gadgets and was almost entirely ignored, except for one guy, who didn't even really help me or talk about what I had posted. I'm super sad that it has come to this, because I really just went to Reddit for /smashbros and other technology related subs, but now it seems that the base of people that occupied those subs have also left. Yesterday was a turning point for me, so here I am, officially introducing myself!
Tell me what your best purchase was!

Many years ago I used to do takeaway delivery part time, some arsehole crashed into my car (he was uninsured) and I was only 3rd party fire & theft insurance so I got nothing back and my car was wrote off. A colleague at work has an old runaround he sold me for £100. The first night working back delivery I made £100 so it paid for itself in a night, I sold the car to the takeaway boss for £85 while his car was getting fixed after an accident. In all I had the car a month and it only cost me £15.
I bought a new car a month later after sorting out finance.
