I was expecting to hear some crazy free energy shit. I was pleasantly surprised.

Real experimental archaeology. Maybe everyone can get off the levitation train now.

I expected idiocy and the narrator's voice didn't help that. But, I actually gave it a chance and watched. It is actually plausible. From my one and only visit to the site, that seems to answer all the questions they posed as mysteries during the guided tour.

Huh! I'm kinda impressed.

Me too. I've been waiting years for someone to actually build a replica and see how it all worked together.

The last such video I watched from here was about a guy who'd decided that gravity wasn't real and that it was actually magnetism.

I'm just going to let that sink in a moment...

So, I was actually quite surprised. I went to the site years and years ago. I figured the guy just worked his ass off and the machines probably were just something to reduce manual labor. While simple, that appears to be mostly correct. I don't believe he's the first to propose that the wheel was actually a motor. It's pretty much the same thing you'd find in a DC motor in a remote controlled car. The rest is pretty clever.

This is one of the best explanation, without the craziness about sound wave and aliens, of how this was done and the tools that were crafted to get the job done.

Sweet video! I had some friends mention the levitation, free energy stuff one night and have been curious about this procedure. It's nice to finally get some practical explanation on this. Thanks for sharing that.

He builds a replica and shows how it was powered by car batteries and did the work of sculpting and cutting the rock.
