Found a dead bat clinging to the wall of a post just outside SWTSU in San Marcos. Grabbed it and threw it like a frisbee at my friend. He said...."you know they have rabies, right"............. yeah....lol......so what?

Or it somehow managed to wind up in the water mistakenly, and the person decided to film rather than attempt to help.
Attempting to help may have just succeeded in injuring the bat, too, though.
Hard to say how the situation came about but it's interesting any way.

I wouldn't help a wild bat. The general rule is if you can approach a wild bat, it is sick. Worst case it is rabies. It's just not worth the risk.

I approached a baby bat once. The problem was probably that it was a baby. I hope it was alright.
