You can fit an actual thought into a tweet in Japanese. Ideographic writing is a lot denser than alphabetic writing; a language where it's more common(or even exclusive) will take far less space than one where it's non-existent at the same font size. Another factor to consider is the grammar: some versions of the Bible, for instance, point out which words were added in translation and "a/an" and "the" make that list frequently(modern English is an especially bad offender in the "unnecessary" spoken grammar department: eg, when we say "do you like dogs?", German languages say what literally translates to "like you dogs?").
That almost seems to make more sense in the sense of how we read. Words are read as a whole so it's almost like we see words as a picture that represents something rather than sounding it out. Lkie how you can selpl eivhtyenreg wonrg but can sohoemw slitl raed it

Whats missing is the tablet afterwards which reads "I have sent another to you for my money. He is not a messenger."

Someone had to deliver that tablet. Assassin or not that still makes him a messenger.
