I notice that many of you have commented (because you can barely do anything else) asking why you don't have CCP (Comment Contribution Points). So I want to explain because I feel bad that this wasn't brought to your attention earlier.

Voat limits all new accounts for reasons of SPAM. To unlock your account you must earn CCP by commenting and having others upvote your contributions. It is orders more difficult for a botnet to unlock accounts with this requirement in place and is why we use this particular method.

For example: You need 10 CCP to make a submission or send a message. You need 100 CCP to unlock downvoat capabilities.

The reason you don't have any CCP is because the moderator(s) set a particular subverse property that prevents the earning of points in v/theawakening.

This subverse property is called: Minimum CCP required to downvote and when it is set to anything but zero three things happen (which are documented in the subverse settings. This information is also displayed in the sidebar so you can see what subverses have set what values):

1. It prevents users who don't have at least X CCP in the subverse itself from downvoating content in that subverse.
2. It prevents all submissions from showing up in v/all (basically making the subverse private).
3. It prevents contribution points from accruing (This is an anti-farming measure).

No one has earned points in v/theawakening since this setting was set to 5.

I hope this helps you understand why.

Read #3 first. So here is my argument: They aren't super web savvy and reddit/voat layout is not that bad of a tool for what they are doing. They were directed to an image board. You all know that's a big jump coming from Reddit. The natural place is here. It's your call Voat always has been and always will be, but maybe we could learn a bit from them, and them us. Think about it.

The goal of this sub is to put quality and focused content over quantity. There are plenty of places on the internet to shitpost and REEEE at the state of our people, and few places that aim for excellence and to inspire. Here is some guidance of what we are looking for:

We want content that: -Unifies our people -Uses the language of identitarianism (See sidebar for Why We Fight by Guillaume Faye), the language of reconquista -Uplifts our people -Is radical (ie it gets to the root of our problems and necessary solutions without self-indulgent extremist baggage)

We want content that avoids: -Old ideologies and their baggage (3rd Reich, WN etc.) -Denigrating other people and races. -Racial epithets and other extremism listed in the sidebar

Content that doesn't follow these guidelines is not identitarian and is off topic and best posted in other subverses.

While we obviously don't want to, and can't, police people's personal lives, certain behaviors and life choices lead people down the right path and will, over time, influence people's posts and comments in a noticeable way.

We want people who: -Stay focused on the tasks that matter -Seek self improvement and live by good daily habits -Have ambitious yet stable personalities -Offer criticism constructively -Take responsibility for their actions -Serve their people first and their ego last -Lift heavy! -Renounce degeneracy and individualism in favor of virtuous living and community

I will update this with more examples and details as I can.

We want only our brothers who can be disciplined and who seek to appeal to our people. Radically mainstream is our approach, NOT self-indulgent extremism. If you don't know what that is, just pretend you're trying to win this fight for the survival and rebirth of our people and it will come to you more and more over time.
