I posted this in another thread, and some people suggested I put it here. To be clear, I haven't seen a single example yet anywhere on Voat where this has yet been a problem, but looking to the future...
I think it would be great if we eventually implement a way for subscribers of a subverse to mutiny and hold a vote of no confidence to impeach mods who are overly activist. It could be done such that only people with at least x CCP or who have been subscribed for at least x months can vote, to prevent people from other subverses from invading and ousting mods. For subverses with multiple mods, they would go down a mod until a new one is appointed or elected. For subverses with only the creator modding it, there would have to be a concurrent election to replace him or her.
I don't think this should be easy to do. It should require at least a 2/3 majority, and be reserved for nightmare scenarios like what was happening with reddit's technology sub last year.

Seconded! He's an evil plague set upon the good people of Voat by the dark powers! Just look at the destruction he has wrought here!
