I prefer to browse Voat with "custom css" disabled being that I like the simple, default layout but there are a handful of subverses that do have a custom theme I enjoy, such as v/Politics.
As of right now, we only have the ability to enable or disable all custom CSS. Why don't we have the option to disable all but if we still want to see a specific subs CSS, we can manually input it which allows that subs CSS to remain. I guess it can be done similarly to how you ban someone. There is the text input box and you can type "v/Politics" to the box and press "add". Now, even though custom CSS is disabled throughout Voat, I can still see v/Politics custom theme. Does that make sense? Sorry if it doesn't haha I'm awake late and very tired
