As it relates to feed content, blocks should take priority over subscriptions.
Examples of effective changes:
1) simultaneously subscribing and blocking a sub would result in the content being blocked
2) subscribing to a set (e.g. s/default) while blocking a specific sub (e.g. v/aww) would result in a feed that has all of s/default content excluding v/aww.
For many users, there is gap between the expected behaviour of 'block' versus its actual functionality. Time and energy is currently being placed on reactive solutions (e.g. directing users to subscribe to each sub of a set excluding the undesired sub). I propose that voat invests in the proactive solution by fixing the 'block sub' code or at the very least including an easily viewable FAQ on the block sub page to explicitly state that sub and set subscriptions override blocks.
