Hi,

I have exactly the same issue, also have the issue with internet explorer 'hanging' on new tabs or new window.

I have removed all add-ins, A fresh install of RC7 on a clean HDD, have checked & unchecked all settings I can find for different window behaviours.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Never seen that option on here. But I always have addons that do that for me on all sites.

Middle click you scrub. Most modern trackpads on laptops even let you three-finger tap or left/right simul for a middle click.

You right click the link or press and hold on the link or use the middle mouse button or even sometimes hold ctrl while you click on the link.

I could also hold CMD/Control while clicking (depending on the OS I'm using), but it's such a habit to just click the link, and expect it to open in a new tab. This is especially useful on my phone, which doesn't have any of these options...

It'd be nice to have this option, still. The functionality is still there, since my older accounts seem to be "grandfathered" with this setting.
