That's probably the best point against right now. An opportunity like this would be more welcome after Voat has a sustainable business model, but that might mean missing out on the chance to carry the AMA ball if Reddit fumbles it.

So what? She's out of a job anyway. Assuming she enjoyed her work, this would be a way to at least avoid a gap in employment on her resume.

I do think it would be a mutually beneficial experience, but I don't think it's a small issue that Voat may not be able to compensate her for her work if she wanted to work here. /u/derram has a good point, and so do you, but I don't think either consideration eliminates the other.
