We need a system that doesn't need mods. This is the internet, decentralize that shit.

let voats rule the rest.

Simply amazing. The Voat system has enabled shills working for private corporations to dominate the content seen by other Voat users. It enables them to parade users with alternative viewpoints and harass them off the site. And this is a good thing how?

We need a system that doesn't need mods.

True enough. Any system of power attracts individuals looking for power.

Just implement a dollar a vote and be done with it. The more voats a post has the more downvoats it needs to be pushed down. The more upvoats a person has the more needed in total to ban them. Let people voat with their wallet. The shills will fucking hate it because they rely on free-accounts, third world inbreds, and 'college interns working for valuable experience' (dipshits who pay colleges for credits while working at companies as free labor) as well as people living on foodstamps while 'working' as 'community organizers' shitposting via unlimited alt accounts because think tanks use welfare programs and people living in college dorms on tax payer dimes as a form of labor arbitrage converting wasted time into wasted text.

Make them finance that shit and suddenly the volume goes way down because gaming the signal-to-noise ratio no longer works on the cheap--plus it solves the funding problem here.

The people paying the shills would love it because they'd almost be the only ones voting.

Thats just it. The strategy used now is only viable because gaming media platforms costs nothing. One platform changing to a dollar voat isn't going to change their strategy, so the shills would simply leave.

'Mods should not be able to ban users who haven't posted or commented in their subs' was posted in v/ideasforvoat on March 6th 2016 by @DerKatalog and received 290-11 = 279 upvoats and 45 comments.

Every day, the Search Voat History Bot reposts a highly-voated submission from a year ago, just for the karma nostalgia. More information at v/AYearAgo.

Eh, I'd strike ideasforvoat from the bot pool if I were you, @VoatSearch
