I understand that. But I think it would be more effective to ban their domains than only their accounts, because accounts are easier to replace.

Domains would still have to be reviewed by Putt.

Some spammers are playing smart and use legit domains to hide their links.

Preventing new accounts from commenting before posting a defined amount of posts, will prevent them to hide in comments of busy threads.

The best way sure is to handle both accounts and domains. Maybe Putt's banning tool can be improved to save him time.

Not preventing new accounts from commenting allows users to downvoat them into CCP restrictions though. Although that isn't done often enough and many spammers don't comment on their posts.
