If we use it site-wide (I.e. on gay porn sub's and the like) that are illegal in some countries as well, then they won't be able to point the warning as anything special.

Also on the same confirmation page could be a disclaimer saying "all Voat content complies with Swedish law".

As far as I know, the servers aren't located in Switzerland. Voat is going to have to deal with laws in different jurisdictions. Additionally, having the jailbait sub is going to make it very difficult for when Voat needs to move servers in the future.

They were already doing that anyway. It's why we got taken down off their servers in germany.

Maybe readily identify subs that are controversial, so those offended can block them. Like... I'm totally upset by pedophilia, I don't want to see that anywhere. It's like head-in-the-sand self censorship. But.. if I self-censor, I then feel responsible to mount a response. So maybe I'd start a subverse v/pervhate

you sould start that subverse and list the user names of pedos
