Saved. Love the artwork you did. Come work for whoaverse? :) Great ideas in there too and of course, everything is open for debate.

Number 3 - ABSOLUTELY NOT. If I set up a subverse, I am fit for moderating it. Those of us who set up subverse should be able to moderate them as we see fit. There is no place for alternative medicine in /v/medicine and there shouldn't be. If you look at /user/TheVeryWiseOwl, he's whining because me and another moderator are discrediting his ideas in subverses that are very clearly based on scientific evidence and practice.

Again, /user/TheVeryWiseOwl doesn't like the way a subverse is run, he can set up his own subverse or join one of the "alternatives" and post to his heart's content there.

Please stop thinking that everything is because of you, these ideas are for offering a solution for the better of Whoaverse. Has nothing to do with you or your ethics on running a verse, regardless of how poor or strict they are. The idea is formed to avoid abuse. I feel that your solution for a user to venture into another verse is no different from you heading back to reddit, but the difference is that you opened a verse that is very broad in topic and to discriminate open discussions on the topic because it doesn't meet your standard is irrational and unfair to the Verse created. And as far as I am concerned, there was no whining, but a rational discussion which you failed to partake because you rather send insults and make fun of what is discussed then to entertain the idea for proper & open development. The unfortunate part is that you are a moderator and that should mean you should also be trusted to help the community, not hinder it.

Thanks, I am all for helping out and making a difference. I was actually inspired by watching The Internets Own Boy to jump in and put this together today. I want to be able to bring the same sort of integrity to ensure that WhoaVerse becomes a great community. I still agree that there are a ton of fine tuning to some of the ideas I talked about, but the concept itself is enough to leave open for discussion. I am all for an open source system and I really do want to become involved

Number 3 - ABSOLUTELY NOT. If I set up a subverse, I am fit for moderating it. Those of us who set up a subverse can and should be allowed to moderate it how we want. For example, /v/medicine is set up to be an evidence-based subverse and I have very clearly and carefully detailed what is and is not allowed to be posted in that subverse. /V/Health is a good alternative to /v/medicine. Again, if you don't like the way a subverse is moderated, start your own damn subverse. Don't cry like a little baby to the admins because you think your alternative beliefs are valid in a science and evidence-based subverse.

I mostly agree with you. I think - especially while we are young and vulnerable to controversy, there is a case to be made for making it commonly accepted that moderators can be removed from the default subs. I stand for the posts I've removed from /v/science, but I think there should definitely be an expectation in the community that admins might step in and reorganize a sub that has a lot of user annoyance at the moderators.

Hey TheVeryWiseOwl.

It appears we've some of the same, if not very similar ideas. I've been arguing a lot for a system of multiple co-existing subverses tied together with a tag system. Here is the concept that I came up with (along with some other ideas that other users introduced in the comments). Take a look at it please if you have the time and give us your thoughts. A lot of others have expressed their support for this system and I am glad you have arrived at a similar insight.

If you like it, maybe you can do a graphic that better depicts what it would be like or your vision of it. I tried my best with the idea but unfortunately, I am not a polymathic artist. Heh.

I'm going to go take a look at it now. I figured that it would be a strong idea and wouldn't be surprised if others have thought of it, but I def wanted to put together some thoughts I had that could possibly offer inspiration.

I have created various system designs so I am all for bringing a realistic yet sophisticated design concept to the table. I open to explore it and see what others have to say as well. If things go well, I can find some time similar how I did to put this together so it can be visually presented.

1 - The issue with this, is that the content removed may have been illegal, and removed for legal reasons. I agree with public moderation logs, it's just that the execution has to be good for it, as it could cause doxing attempts, or other maligned things to happen.

2 - Reddit had something like this, except (for some strange reason) it was up to moderators to either allow public viewing of it, or not.

3 - Again, this is just a cause for doxing and witchhunting.

4 - I like it. Seems like a good way to make this site different than the other one. Some reddit mods had figured out a way to do this with CSS and flair, but it didn't work that well, as it relied on reddit's search engine, which we all know didn't work that well.

I dunno, I think what should really be focused on is unique features, most of the things found here are small changes...

4 was a pretty radical change that would separate Whoaverse from reddit.

Yes, that is one feature that I would really like to see.

Very nice presentation! I still have to read through it, but it looks very impressive.
