I really despise mobile websites, and the most annoying thing about them is that they usually go through every possible development effort to ensure that I can't get to the main site. I can delete "m.", I can "request desktop version", and I can spoof my id string, and in some cases, one or more of these will work. In other cases, they will fail.
Is it possible to make an option in preferences that could do this for voat? Maybe it would always force a claimed desktop resolution, or something. I think long term someone will need a browser for mobile that always lies about screen size and content string. Basically, I want the same thing on my phone as I see on my desktop. Zooming in is totes fine.
Are mobile sites really popular or something? Am I seriously the only one who can't stand the sight of them?

Those sites probably haven't updated their front end in the past 3 years.
I can't really think of a reason why a site has to be mobile only ... Is like never. There are times when you have tables with lots of data columns but why are you on mobile?
Proper use of the media tag for CSS makes a huge difference.
