I'm paying out the ass for the best internet I'm able to get in my area, all of 5/60 up/down. I'd love to try something like that though, what can I use it for? I'm still somewhat new to this, and plex/samba had nice easy top read guides and all that jazz so while I'm experienced I wouldn't say I know everything!
That sucks, I think I pay $65 for 20/100mbps. Anyway I digress, Apache is a web server. If you're on cable you can host your own webpages, though with a connection like that I'd keep it pretty basic if I did it at all.

God damn. I pay $72 for what I get. It's not even reliable. Fuck you TWC.

Would I need to pay for anything if I wanted to host my own? Like domain names and such.
