We need some Sedinery in the 3v3 line, no doubt about that. Not sure how well 3 forwards work as opposed to having one D – I'd actually prefer Hamhuis over Vrbata. Full-on offense would be pretty beast, though.
D: Tyson Barrie
C: Nathan MacKinnon
W: Gabriel Landeskog
Mack and Dutchy are pretty obvious. Both incredibly fast skaters that would thrive in the more open ice of a 3v3 game.
Iginla and Landeskog are both large, physical players that are equally good at setting up their center, and at driving into the net. Iggy over Landy because of the years of experience, and Landy/Mack have worked together well for the past two seasons.
I opted for Johnson for first string because he's overall more solid than Barrie. Doesn't have the same offensive power, but he's got a wicked slapshot when he sees an opening. Barrie is such an offensive defenseman, he can (and probably would) trade places with Landeskog in certain situations. If he has the puck and sees an opening, he will not hesitate to pretend he's a forward.
The G line would be scary on the rush, but also maybe considered a defensive liability. The coots line could be out against others' top lines. I see it as sort of a perfect mix of grit, defense and speed. All three can score too, especially given the type of room they're sure to see with all that ice.
Penguins, so this one is kind of a no brainer. Fleury in goal. For 2-O and 1-D: Malkin-Crosby-Letang. If you want to run 3 O, then Malkin-Crosby-Kessel.
Hehehe, we could conceivably field this season a hero line of Malkin-Crosby-Kessel-Letang-Maata. There's so much star power that they probably couldn't get out of each others way, though.
I would split Malkin and Crosby to be a more dynamic group. I don't see the need for 3 O because Letang and Maatta have the offensive skill set. If anything maybe replace Maatta with our best Left wing who ever is earning that top line spot.
Any extra time in games will give the Pens advantage against most teams. Will be interesting to see how it plays out though.
Sort: Top

Datsyuk - Nyquist - Kronwall
Zetterberg - Tatar - DeKeyser

You know your team better, but If it were up to me I'd swap Zetterberg with Nyquist.

Not sure what Blash will end up doing, but I always liked having a veteran and young skill player together.

Caps: 1st line -- Ovechkin Backstrom Carlson 2nd line - Oshie Kuznetzov Niskannen
2nd line D man is questionable, I think he is our second best all around D-man but others could easily fit into that role.

Arguably the best 3v3 line in the NHL currently imo.

Agreed, I don't think there is a better 3v3 combo.

OTT 1st:
Ryan-Turris
King Karl
2nd:
McArthur-Stone
King Karl, cause fuck it he can handle the double shift

I mostly agree, though swap Ryan and Stoner.
Bobby Ryan...I love you, I really do...but damn bro, you're cursed.

I thinking - hoping (praying) it was just a "recently signed big extension" curse, and all will be well very soon

Towes/Kane = Brothers from another mother... But they are Hawks, your flair is Nucks' ?
Shouldnt it be Sedin/Sedin, Vrbata?

Chicago is my second favourite team.

I totally looked at this post without considering multiple lines. I'm stupid.
