This is just the inherent issue with having such a high fee for expansion. Even if AEG considered Kansas City a close second, there's no way they're going to spend $1 billion just to create another new team, let alone other start-up costs. If Kansas City really wanted a team, they would probably have to wait for a relocation.

Yeah. Sadly (though not too sadly to me since they eventually became the Devils), the Scouts didn't do all that well in Kansas City, so the NHL may need to be extra confident if it could be a viable hockey market.

Apparently nothing, no permanent tenant. Presumably it's used for concerts and events.

Yeah dude! I'd head down at least once a season to watch the Canucks in Seattle.
