I didn't mind this episode and thought it was pretty good. However, I think some of the drama and relationships need to take a little bit of a backseat. With that said, I've very glad Kerry Bische was given far more screen time this year.

To me the interpersonal drama is getting a little ridiculous. I miss the team overcoming big technical challenges, which is why I liked the scene this week with hacking up the unix box. I still watch primarily for the beautiful shots, and because I'm still invested in the characters.

Yup, I agree. I felt sort of the same way with Mad Men; really interesting concept, but at some point about 10 episodes in, I thought to myself, "Wait...am I watching a drama about the advertising world or a soap opera?" I know there has to be conflict in a show, but in the case of HACF I think it's beginning to distract from the core technical story.
