When your dealing with big game velocity is you friend. A 9 mm out of a 10 inch barrel is better than a 308 out if a 1 inch barrel.

All that’s too large, too dedicated to large wildlife. I think a light loaded 10mm is it. I’ve been jonesing for one for a couple years now, I think today was the day of convincing tho. Im pretty well versed in modern “metric” calibers, and from all my reading and books, 10mm is where it’s at

10mm is great shoot for at least a 6 in barrel to get the maximum potential of the round.
