Why not just use BitChute?
Edit, Minds, GabTV, & DTube are already things.

Because none of those took off well.
I think for these sites to really gain an audience, it has to take off. A good way to do that would be getting several uploaders to upload on floatplane first/ exclusively.
If one guy you follow leaves youtube, it’s a slight annoyance. If 50% of your shows leave, you will probably leave too.

A lot of the YouTubers are finally moving their content over. Especially on BitChute because they have an auto copy feature to pull videos over from YouTube accounts.
GabTV is now taking off for live streaming because of the way YouTube was hitting everyone with strikes the last few weeks.
