I have a 1928 Mosin-Nagant. My first gun, got it when I was sixteen.
I can make decent (3"-5") groups with it at 300yd, using that shitty butt Russian sardine can ammo. That's nice and all, but I know I can do better.
For those who have used one of these weapons, you know that the triggers on these guns are hot garbage. I'll be replacing mine with an adjustable Timney match-grade one.
ProMag makes a really nice replacement stock called the Archangel, that not only drops serious weight off the old bird, but also lets you attach way neato things to it, like a rail system, and what have you. It is also clearanced to accept 10rd magazines, which are also manufactured by ProMag. I bought mine in desert tan, but they're available in black, olive drab, and grey, as well.
Links to the shit I bought below, note that I may not have bought them from these sites:

Finally, I have a question for you. Laser sight, or no laser sight? Under barrel or side barrel mounted? What do you recommend?
