Well my wallet is considerably lighter this morning I received the Gas piston kit, (contains the bolt carrier, but no firing pin, or locking cam) , and today my butt-stock will arrive for my 6.8 mm SPC II project. This morning I ordered the firing pin, firing pin retaining pin and the locking cam for the Bolt carrier. I also ordered the Vortex Optics Crossfire II 3-12x56 AO Hog Hunter Scope - V-Brite Illuminated MOA Reticle for the rifle.
I NOW HAVE ALL THE PIECES IN PLACE TO PUT IT TOGETHER. Just think about it a rifle that will fire a 120 grain projectile at 3000 feet per second with a .5 MOA accuracy out to 600 meters. By the way I selected the 3X12X56 scope for the large objective lens. The larger the objective lens the better low light capability the scope will have. With a 56 mm Objective lines you can still acquire a target in deepening twilight. (Sun has gone down sky is a deep blue/black and only the brightest stars can be seen)
Yeap I think the word BADD-ASS perfectly describes the rifle.
