You can attach two magazines together. Tape is commonly used. They also make specialty clips to attach them. Some magazines are even designed with special parts that attach to other magazines.

You could also modify the weapon to hold more than one at a time, and quickly switch by sliding the next mag into place. This is extremely cumbersome and doesn't work well.

But either way, the idea of "getting around" laws restricting you isn't particularly useful. They just declare what you did to break the law and instantly you're done. Nobody wins by being "technically legal".

Better to just ignore the illegal restriction in the first place.

great points and best thing would be to practice inserting and removing mags until you can do it at ninja level blindfolded in a pitch dark room.

10rd mags are much easier to conceal in regular clothing.

Personally I prefer my Hungarian 20rd AK magazines to my 30rd magazines.
