Would normally recommend an Atlas PSR, but you you'd need to throw on a keymod picatinny rail on the front under the guard, first.

They make one that straps onto the 1913 picatinny rail, and I will bolt that on when the time comes. I'm going between the atlas and this: https://peletontechnology.com/product-category/tiptop-rifle-bipods/

a harris knock-off from China. My bro has toured their facilities and says their QC is top notch. He's used them too.

I love the atlas, but with all those fine machining, not sure if mud and such won't gum it up pretty easily. The harris/tiptop type with the exposed springs would keep working, but it might rock forward and fold down depending on the situation. Also, price difference between the tiptop and atlas is huge, so the question is if my environment requires me to have a bipod, or is there enough stuff to brace the rifle against if needed.

I prefer the Atlas because it's QD and can swap on the fly to any rifle I have. Mine has been through some pretty harsh conditions and has always worked and cleaned easily afterward.

I've used quite a few Harris style bipods and monopods that mount to either sling mounts or sling mount adapters, and while they've "worked", I've never found them either especially stable and they tend to deform and inevitably break . If you go that route, I strongly recommend buying a second as a back-up for SHTF.

And a can for the end. That way the blue helmets don't know where the shot came from.

For real. When that happens this will be a $7K package. Going to have to save up.

Don't think of it as a 7k package. Your suppressor will add value to your 5.56, your 5.45, your .300 blackout, etc

Mine has an 18" unthreaded barrel and makes 3ft fireballs so i bet that shorter barrel makes a hell of a flash in low light. Nice gun though. The world needs more FALs. I dont understand why the US picked the m14 over such an awesome design.

Well, actually they commissioned the M16 as an alternative to the FAL because of nationalism, but hey, potatoe, potAtoe. Concerning the M14, that is a badass gun, all the way down to its roots from the M1 Garand, also an amazing weapon. Luckily we live in a place where we have the option to choose, and admire each other's choices. We're going to need all of them when the time comes.

Oh yeah I really like the m1a also i'm just partial to my FAL because it was my first .308 semi auto. I really want an M1 garand just to hear the PING every 10 rounds haha.
