[Temp. Trial Rule] All politics posts must go into the stickied politics megathread, which is refreshed on the 1st and 15th of every month. If something big is happening (eg. the M855 ban), the moderators will create a specific megathread for that event at their discretion.

Hey man, could you please repost this over in our political megathread? We just started that rule on a trial basis a few days ago. Thanks!

It's not a problem at all, the rule just started like 36 hours ago so I'm expecting a lot of people to be confused at first, and my message could have been more clear. One of the points brought up in the rule discussion last week was that it would be easier to find content that was directly gun-related if all the political posts/blog pieces got funneled into a single sticky thread for everyone to peruse in one spot. So, we're trying that out for the next month or so and we'll see how it goes.

By the way, feel free to post as many political links as you want as comments in that megathread I linked you. It needs some content in it.

Sorry, i am a casual poster and don't understand what you are asking me. I think you are saying my post was removed because it was political (with respect to firearms) not related to the physical firearm (gun) itself and that if I want to post it i should go to another sub. Is this correct?
