And it will only get worse as California is already setting itself up to defy any purge of criminal illegal aliens, as is being proposed. So you'll become more of a haven for such. And I have no problem with legal immigrants, I don't think many do, we're all immigrants. But when criminals are given a safe haven that's where they'll go.
Anyway, I feel for you my friend ... I spent twenty odd years in California starting with the USAF. So I spent a good portion of my adult years there, and raised my family there.. It was a great place to live and the weather is unbeatable. I moved on the the early 00's and since, have seen a dramatic change in the place, more than i would've ever imagined possible. I don't even feel safe myself now when I go back to the places that I lived for so long, let alone cross the expanses in between. the sad part is you're now a one party, socialist dictatorship, plain and simple, ruled by the big money folks in the cities, while the regular folk in the countryside are left out. It was a much different place when there were actually two parties with opposing views in play, which is the time I spent there ... today, hell, you didn't even have a Republican on the US Senate ballot ... you only have a choice of one evil over another evil. I feel sorry for our brothers and sisters of the right still forced to live there.

well, we live in hope. I was born in San Diego, and I'm here now. The best hope I have is that Federal funding will be withdrawn from all states that allow sanctuary cities. That would at least be a start, and make CA bonds virtually unsellable, which would force some action. I still hope that the many of us in CA who do understand the world will prevail.

Yeah, like I said, I feel for you guys. It's just sad that they've put the priorities of illegals far and above over that of the native people born and raised there. It' not that I don't have compassion, but hell, we can't save everyone ... there's over 6 billion people in the world, likely the majority of whom would die to come to the USA. I have very little compassion for those who openly defy our reasonable immigration laws, destroying the hopes and dreams of those who legally stand in line to take their turn to come here ... and at the same time waste the limited resources we have to the illegals, while denying people like our own citizens and veterans benefits they earned by sweat and blood. Good luck to ya!
