At the moment I just use what @thebuddha recommended, it’s easy enough for recording.

Audacity on pc. You can download it for free.

Open .wav file in it, say backing track or pre-recorded instrument. I run a mic through an interface, record vocals directly over track playing then drag that into recording software called Adobe Auditions for tweaking, sound balancing and then export as a .mp3 to upload to instaudio as .wav files are too big...

That’s all I know right now, still learning...

Failing that, I just record on my phone, email it to myself and convert to mp3 in my recording software and upload to Instaudio.

Not sure if this helps, I am still such a newb but learning with help from others here.

These are all amazing people with oodles of experience -> @mrharryreems @legalperson @heygeorge @cheeseboogerhimself who have waymore experience then I in this matter and an added BONUS they are really cool people who want to help.
