I should really rewrite this intro:
It's that time again, a time when we get together and share our work, talk about performing, talk about practice, ask questions, and see if we can push ourselves to new levels of enjoyment. The most important thing is that we enjoy ourselves.
Some of us play for fun. Some of us are professionals. Some of us play with our friends. Some of us are just learning. Some of us don't even really play at all. It doesn't matter, we want to hear you play as well as you can - or just play.
I don't care if you play a kazoo - I want to hear it and, if history is any guide, the rest of the folks who frequent this thread also want to hear it. So, no matter what you play, come share it with us. If we like the song, we'll sing along when we all get to the chorus!
Grab your guitar and your cell phone - and play us a song. Sing for us! Play a piano. Make electronic music. Play a kazoo, blow a trumpet, bang a xylophone! We don't mind - we want to hear all of it, not just guitar.

LOL I get strange comments when I do it. I've got VIP tickets to see Ozzy, on June 15th. I'm kinda hoping the band comes into the VIP area - just so I can tell the guitarist to tune his guitar.
I don't care if they're famous.
When I see old vets walking at the VA, I tell them to get in step!

And they mumble to themselves "goddamn boots! Get a life!"

Nah, they smile and step in line more often than not. Then we laugh and talk. I have endless conversations at the VA. It's kind of strange, but we all share some bond.

I like this boldness maybe one day I can be so cool. But too right you have put your time in you have walked a mile in their shoes. Tune tge blooming guitar is perfectly reasonable!

It also helps that I just straight up look like a musician. I do, too. One look at me and people know I'm a musician. I just ooze it, or something. I frequently get asked by random people if I play in a band. I do not always answer truthfully, sadly. I often don't have time to gab with random people.
