"Tell her i said thank you and it wasn't that hard!"

It is actually a little more difficult than she can play with ease. That's why I chose it, after all. If it's something she can play easily, there's not much learning going on.

It's adorable to see a cute young lady sit all prim and proper, 'cause I'm big on form, and then rip into something at top volume. She's more keen on metal and has been trying to learn a couple of different metal songs.

If this weren't Voat, and the Internet was a little safer, I'd post video. It's absolutely adorable. She's even pretty comfortable when she gets to come on stage and do a song with us.

Because of the recent changes, she'll be getting more stage time and we'll find a way to incorporate her into the performance on a regular basis.

That is just awesome... I am so glad you are teaching her proper form... nothing quite as special as a lady these days :)

Without proper form, she'll have a harder time later when it's time to pick up speed and learn advanced techniques. So, I'm very, very big on form. I even got her her very own footstool for when she's playing acoustic and in the classic guitar pose. It not only belongs to her, I put a label on it with her name on it! (She kept stealing mine.)

"I'm not stealing it. I'm just using it."

Lies! She purloins my stool! Strangely, I'm pretty sure I only have the one. Now she has her own.
