Thank you for putting this up so the rest of us could hear it. Your playing of fur Elise(that was you playing?) Was absolutely beautiful . I haven't thought about that song in forever and it has so many memories tied to it from when my husband and I were younger thank you. Even though I'm just about in tears right now from listening to it it was beautiful.

You're quite welcome. Everything I submit was played by me - on all instruments, unless otherwise noted. I do sometimes submit stuff that was played with an entire band, originals, and some performances, but I always mention those as having other artists.

I'm a musician and I love music. I try to share that love with other goats. We do this every single Friday night, rain or shine. It starts at 8:00 PM Eastern time. When it's 8:00 at night in NYC, that's when the thread starts - but it's open all week, though it's dead by Sunday (maybe Monday). It's still open and the stuff is still here to listen to.

Do you play?

I'm a classical guitarist by training, but I mostly played rock throughout my long and storied career. I'm actually coming out of retirement to play again and have a new band of younger people that I'm going to teach to be more than musicians. I'm going to teach them how to be professional musicians. There's a difference.

If you liked that, here's a short piece that you'll probably recognize.

You're free to download and save any of the tracks I share. There's no cost and I need nothing in return. I'm financially secure and I just enjoy sharing the music. I enjoy making people happy. The link above is Greensleeves but you may know it as What Child Is This, the Christmas carol.

Beautiful. I know you've long said younger people don't pay to listen to classical music, but since no one here is having to pay you might consider posting more like this. A lot of talented people submit their work here but no one else I've heard is posting classical music, especially with the talent you have. As the above user implied "she cried more, more, more".

That was played beautifully too! You are talented. Congratulations on coming out of retirement and those new musicians are lucky to have you. No ha I don't play any instruments the only one is the guiro but that's around Christmas time. Do you mean dead as in the sub is going away? That's a shame to just now have heard about it right as it's closing.
