Some of us are professionals. Some of us are retired. Some of us are just learning. Some of us just play because we enjoy it.
This is your thread - and it's not just for guitarists. I don't care if you play a kazoo. I want to hear it. I will listen to every submission of personally created work - and, if history is any predictor, other people will too.
So, grab your phone and guitar and record us something. Or, if you can do better recording that that, do so!
If you don't play and want to, ask questions. If you want more information, ask questions. If you want resources, ask questions.
(I'm not going to ping people in this one - the thread's a bit late. I'll tell ya why, in a moment.)

Yep. That was just a single take, mistakes and all. Im the same way as you with fixing mistakes, it's easier to just start playing from the beginning again.

It has a style all its own - your tracks. It's a very much sound like, "I'm going to do what I want and I really don't give a shit if you don't like it."
I'm in the process of researching and writing a series of articles that you may be interested in - it's based on a Voat conversation and a long-standing bit of a bee in my bonnet. (Assuming, of course, that I wore bonnets...) Then again, it's technically also based on an almost-long-standing conversation I've had on Voat and other sites.
You may have seen me rant about it before - it's best to not get me started. The short version is Jimi Hendrix was awarded Guitarist of the Century. This infuriates me and has bothered me for nearly 20 years. I've had that discussion many times. Based on a Voat conversation, one had a half dozen times with @cynicaloldfart, I'm correcting this. I'm actually moving right along on it. I'm writing an article (technically, maybe a series of articles) that correct this stupidity.
Seriously, don't get me started on my rant. It goes on for hours, once I'm started. Jimi was a fine artist and not even the worst guitarist to reach stardom. He's just in no way qualified for the accolades that establish him as being worthy of such a title as "Guitarist of the Century." His inclusion even on a list for consideration shows that the magazine (Rolling Stone) is pretty much entirely inept and full of drunkards with absolutely no skill of their own. (And that includes critical thinking skills, not just guitar skills.)

I think Phillip S Hoffman summed it up pretty well in "Almost Famous"

For me, expando mp4's always come up muted. I have to r-click, show controls, and unmute it there.
